REST - without password

I am having trouble with the trick described here: http://www.switchking.se/sv/faq/39-konf ... -loesenord

I did, however, replace the port 10000 (I have webmin on that port) with 8801.

* is the "trick" not working anymore?
* does the unsecure port have to be on 10000?

Thanks

Update - could not get it to work with 10000 either. By the way, I'm on Ubuntu Server 11.10.

There is a limitation in Mono on Linux that prevents this from working. Username/password cannot be turned off in Linux.

I suspected that. I suggest you update the instructions accordingly.

Actually, I only modified the Swedish version since I didn't realise that we actually translated the page. But I have now added the same sentence in the English version. :)

The instructions on the Swedish page doesn't work for me on 3.2.3, the code in the code boxes are different, and the English version isn't complete, the text in the code boxes are gone...
I noticed that today when I was setting up a new system.

For some reason, the formatting does not work 100% in the guide. I have replaced the instructions with an attached configuration file instead.
Thanks for notifying us.
